Intro: About Me

Hi, This is Linda Park, 20 years old and from South Korea. I was once a child who loved reading all sorts of books over and over. But because I didn't grow up in American culture, what I've read in my life have difference from people around here. Not just because every person is different, I feel like have some different perspective from what people see because of my culture and I think this could be my strength of wide perspective and understanding in some what different ways.

But as I grow up, I somehow lost interest in reading literature. I do still, rad, but not as much as my childhood. Instead, my interest spread out to different media; drama, movies, music, etc... and I think it is interesting to try different media because even though they're based on a same story, the outcome is always different, such as Sherlock series or any movies or drama based on a literature. To me, it's always interesting to see the director's interpretation and learn how other people think about what I've read.

Anyways, there are still way so much literature and media I’ve missed through my life. I still have a lot to catch up for whole reading and watching stuff that I’ve start to miss at some point in my life, and I feel like this class is the opportunity for me do so.
