Adaption: Eyes Wide Shut

Eyes Wide Shut is directed by Stanley Kubrick, screenplay by Stanley Kubrick and Frederic Raphael. It is about William Harford and his wife Alice are wealthy young couple who doubt each other after a party. The main stage takes place in a ball room from the script, usually during night. I think the most important aspect in this movie to portray the scene is the camera's movement and the color. When it comes to tell the stage setting in the movie, I would use camera move to zoom in and out to show the whole view, give an idea of where the main characters are located at the time. It is important for me to give an idea of location to the audience. When it comes to the emotional part between characters, I would definitely zoom in to show and focus on their expressions, which would allow the viewer to understand their feelings. Also, lighting would be important. I think this plot is very dramatic and conflicting, so I think there's got to be a lighting that makes you understand
