Privilege

Cosmopolis is about a young billionaire Eric Packer, who do not know what to do with his money in his collapsing world. He was a man in nice shape, everything looked good. But as the story flows, you see the character starts to collapse. He buys everything he want, uses his social position and tries to control the other.

As you can see, it talks about capitalism and privilege and how it impacts society, and I have lot to talk about this. I spent my teenage hood in China, and it is one of the country with huge gap between poor and rich. My school was a private school, and lots of my friend were pretty rich, their parents had social position that can impact the others. With objective view, I see my friends were the ones who had privilege in that society. You never sense that you're the one who has the privilege until you go outside. I'm not saying it is bad, but what I've seen in my life allows me to have harsher feelings of sensing the privilege.
Capitalism is thing that already exists, but I think it's stands out more as our world develops, because it 's easy for the ones to continue with what they've got already, but it's never easy for the ones to catch up the rich ones. I think endure of the capitalism will bring more contrast to society, till it makes the society to be either rich or poor.
