Marriage of a thousand lies

Marriage of a Thousand Lies by S J Sindu is a novel that talks about homosexuality and how people nowadays still hides it from their family or friends. It is about lesbian named Lucky, she and her husband both homosexual but presenting an illusion of they're tend to marry because they love each other--while they have their own date on the other side. Now she tries to save another homosexual "BF" who's preparing a marriage with a man who never met, which is basically a marriage based on a lie.

I think it is tragedy for both people to marry each other without love. There was a time people saying you will love him/her once you marry and live together, and I don't think that true. Forcing someone to feel something feels rude to me.  Although I grew up in a culture that do not accept homosexual widely, I always try to understand and consider them. My culture still has the tacit rule of not speaking of homosexuality to their closest, because of stereotype, contempt, and the pressure the society's making. It may not be spoken out loud, but you always can find them online easily, and lots of them were forcing themselves to marry a person they do not love which is definitely hear breaking. The world is changing, but still, there are lot to go through for all of us to understand and accept their gender. I may not fully understand them, but I want to be supportive. Many countries still do not have a law for homosexual marriage, but I do hope there's a time when all kinds of love can be approved without stereotype.
